5 Reasons Why Manchester City Will Go the Entire Premier League Season Unbeaten
Manchester City have made a lightning quick start to their 2017-18 Premier League campaign, winning nine and drawing once in their opening ten games, meaning they are the only Premier League side who are yet to lose a game this season.
They have been blowing teams away so far this season, and have not looked like losing in any of their games so far. With this in mind, many are now asking the question, can City go the entire Premier League season without losing a game?
Here, we will be looking at five reasons why City will go through the entire Premier League season without losing a game.
1. Attacking Threat
Opposing teams have not been able to handle the Manchester City attacking threat so far this season. They have already scored an astonishing 35 goals in their first 10 games – with their Manchester rivals scoring the second highest amount of goals this season, 12 more goals less.
They are averaging over three goals per game, and are scoring an average of five goals per game at home this season – with their 3-0 win over Burnley being their lowest scoring home game so far this season.
They currently have four players in the league’s top 10 goalscorers – with Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling tied for second with seven goals each, followed by Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane who have both scored six goals. The question is who can stop this attack from scoring? We are yet to find out.
